Watch me create some dreamy little rounds with DeSerres Professional Liquid Acrylics!

Want to recreate this? You’ll need the following:

This was such a fun little project. I hope you’ll try making your own! The texture reminds me of seafoam, and my subsequent collection featured this texture throughout. The professional line is incredibly pigmented and smooth. I mixed five colors here, 1 part liquid acrylic and 2 parts gloss medium.

Starting with a light-colored base. I like to use a flat brush like a sponge as the shapes can vary a lot more than an actual sponge. This is what helps creates that texture, along with the gloss medium. After that, I start working from dark to lightest with just a few minutes between layers. I tried this on a lot of different surfaces such as canvas, wood panels, and MDF rounds and I found the technique works best on a rigid surface.

If you try this out, let me know! I’d love to see how it turns out for you!

Special thanks to my sponsor, Deserres, for supplying these gorgeous paints to help me write this post today!
