Meet Dani Sherman!

Dani Sherman is a multidisciplinary visual artist based out of Ottawa, Ontario.

Growing up in a family of artists and musicians, Dani's artistic journey began at a young age. Driven by her passion for vibrant colors and visual arts, she started her creative career working in photography and graphic design.

In 2020, Dani stepped into the world of contemporary art with her “Dreamwalker” collection. The following year Dani released the first of her ongoing series titled "In My Own Little Bubble", abstract bubbles on tondos. This vibrant and expressive series is her way of reflecting on her own unique experience of being a late-diagnosed adult woman with ADHD.

Dani’s use of movement, color, and texture convey the feelings of chaos, playfulness, and the need for self-reflection that come with living with ADHD. Every dot and bubble placed on her canvas represents a fragment of thought or a fleeting moment of focus.

Today, Dani continues to create in both physical and digital mediums, painting ethereal, atmospheric worlds with her playful colors. Dani always pushes herself to evolve, so you never know where you’ll find her next.
